Asalamualaikum brothers and sisters,
may this email find you in a great state of Health and Iman and may Allah s.w.t. keep us in this state till our last days, Ameen.
Brothers and sisters hurry to do good in this blessed month and forgive all and ask for forgiveness from all. Never mind who was wrong
in the first place. Let your ego not overwhelm you and let Allah s.w.t. guide you to a higher place. Allah in your name we live and Allah in
your name let us die, Ameen.
I am excited to share with you our list of activities in August. Hopefully, you will be able to join us in any if not all of them, Insya Allah.
1. Practical Islam Class
This is based on the book Inspirations from the Quran and is for all ages (8 years and above). Parents are welcome to join in the session as well.
We are in our final lap of this class. We will not be having class this Saturday on 14th Aug but will resume for the next 3 Saturdays at the auditorium after
the Ramadhan Talk by Ustaz Haron Akhtar. The last class will be on 4th September. Enquiries Call Hp-96935859.
2. Tafsir Class
The Tafsir class is led by Ustaz Yasser Fares who is a native Arabic speaker and well versed in both Arabic and English. Come and get a deeper understanding
of the Quran. Class during Ramadhan will be on every Sunday between 1.45pm - 3pm at the Faithhub Centre (opposite wisma Indah, Changi Road) . For enquiries call sis Noraini at Hp-96222241.
3. Break Fast & Prayers
Come join us for break fast and prayers on Saturday, 21st August at 7pm. Call sister Noraini for details at Hp-96222241.
4. Ramadhan Talk Series at Sultsan Mosque
We will be having our weekly Ramadhan talk series at Sultan Mosque Auditorium on Saturdays 21st August, 28 August and 4 September from 3-4pm.
Do join us as we cover different aspects of Ramadhan each week. Call sister Sylvia for details at Hp-96935859.

Shukur Alhamdulilah, thank you to all who supported our Amazing Car Race. We enjoyed it thoroughly. As the Fasting month draws closer,
I just want to share a story of the Man from Paradise. Our beloved Prophet s.a.w. once said that a particular man was from Paradise and when
his followers researched as to what qualifies an individual to be a Man of Paradise, they realized 3 attributes in the man;
1. He read verses of the Quran everyday.
2. Every night. he forgave everyone who intentionally or unintentionally offended him.
3. Every night, he asked for forgiveness from everyone that he may have intentionally or unintentionally hurt !
Subhanallah, wal hamdulilah, wala ilaha illallahu Allahu Akbar !!
Now, let us look at ourselves and ask the same questions. Can we do this everyday ? If yes, than you are on the road to Paradise.
If not, lets try to get on the road starting tonight. L.i.f.e. (Living In Future Enjoyment) is the permanent one. We are trapped in
Living in Current Enjoyment which is our greatest challenge ! In my Practical sessions, I try to share some of my thoughts around
what is going on in our daily life and what we could do to rectify the situation. We ask Allah s.w.t. to help us and guide us through this
journey.

Alhamdulillah, thank Allah for His blessings. Insya'Allah may Allah guide us all.... Ameen.
The school examinations are finishing and the school holidays are here again. Lets us all remember that are life examinations are never over and are just lurking round the corner. Take your life tests in your stride. Life is but a TEST. We could either PASS or FAIL.
PASS - Praise Allah Second by Second
FAIL - Forgot Allah In Life
Brothers and sisters, we know that everyday we are facing difficulties sometimes even with our loved ones, With each TEST, our true colours become evident. We say that our Prayers, our Ways of Life, our Life and our Death are all for the sake of Allah s.w.t. and yet we are doing things that are for our own benefit, to feed our ego and to look good in the eyes of others ....instead of in the eyes of Allah s.w.t.
Check yourself and make the changes TODAY ! TODAY is a Present from Allah s.w.t. and we do not know if we will get another day except with the mercy of Allah s.w.t. Repent your sins and ask Allah for forgiveness for He is most Gracious, most Merciful. I too ask for forgiveness and ask for your patience in supporting our dak'wah work. We hope that you will support us and share our activities with those whom you think can benefit from it. Let this journey of ours be beneficial in the path of Islam, Ameen.

My dear brothers and sisters, I want to share this true story that happened not too long ago. There was a death in a Muslim family and the family really had no one to turn to help in the funeral process. I was shocked that despite the fact they were living in a block of flats where there were other Muslims, no one actually bothered to help out !! The point I am trying to make is that, are you capable of doing this as well ? Ask yourself and be true to yourself. Have you been the best neighbor to your Muslim brother ? Do you really know your neighbor or do you really care for your neighbor ? I am afraid that there are quite a few Muslims who do not realize that it is their responsibility to look out for their neighbors regardless if they are Muslims in the first place !! It is never too late to change. Make that change today !!
This coming Saturday, we will be continuing with our second class on Motivational Islam/Practical Islam at Sultan mosque. I will be personally teaching this class from 3-4pm in their classroom. The teachings will be based on my book, Inspirations from the Quran. I will share my thoughts around what I wrote in the book and how the Quran has been Inspirational to me in my daily life.
Do take the time to come and allow me to share my thoughts and get you to realise the beauty of Islam from a different perspective. I am but one and I will not let the things I cannot do stop me from doing the things that I can do. I hope that you too will adopt this attitude and in the process, I want to start a Transformation of the Ummah. Insya Allah.
